Inspired by Kunio Okawara's classic military illustrations, this heavy assault set combines the legendary RX-78-2 fighting robot and its G-Fighter tactical support vehicle in a realistic colour scheme. The new colour scheme, featuring olive green, earthy grey and intricate tactical markings, anchors the space war machine in a tangible, historical military aesthetic. This special edition celebrates the golden age of modelling by transforming the Earth Federation's iconic mecha into a strategic collector's item with a striking visual presence.

The major ingenuity of this kit lies in its total modularity, allowing components to be assembled and separated to recreate all the combat configurations of the original series. The parts of the G-Fighter articulate and fit perfectly around the robot to form the G-Armor heavy bomber, the G-Bull land tank and the G-Sky fast interceptor. The Master Grade internal skeleton provides the stability needed to support the massive external structure during transformations, while the weapons hatches open to reveal the missile generators and heavy beam cannons.
